I have a PQ controller and the lift moves without moving the handle. How do I fix this?

If your machine has a foot switch, check to  be sure your foot switch is not made.  Then go to the controller operating the function which is activating and ensure the potentiometer is centered.  Most potentiometers have a screw driver slot in them; use it to center the pot.  This should stop the unexpected movement.  If it does not, give us a call.

The lift jerks around when I move the controller. What is wrong?

More often than not, the controller's ramp adjustments are not properly set.  You can verify the ramp adjustment is set properly by following the instructions in your lift or controller manual.  If this is set correctly,  you most likely have a bad potentiometer. Send it in and we will replace the pot and recondition the control handle at a very reasonable price.
